You're not going to find this information in the conventional media. And that's the biggest question that needs to be answered. Why aren't newspapers, television, radio and syndicates such as Reuters and UPI covering this story? The greatest catastrophe anybody has ever seen and we get more information from the man on the street than from conventional news media.
Smaller newspapers, who used to drool over a scoop like this, are being bought up by larger conglomerates who dictate editorial content. Isn't it an obligation... more than an obligation... it's their sacred mission to report all the news, all sides without bias or personal opinion?
Remember way back before 911. Didn't you wonder why every news station reported the same news at the same time? You could channel surf from one news station to another and see different talking heads saying the same thing about the same event, usually in the same order.
We'll never see another Woodward and Bernstein again. Gone are the Jack Londons, Upton Sinclairs and Charles Dickens. Even William Randolph Hearst, ruthless SOB that he was, slung enough dirt that stuck and made people pay attention.
Who was and is responsible for crushing the journalistic spirit, the hunger, the instinct to go out and find and report the story? Now a days we're subjected to the same tired pablum and the "official government line" and what does it say to the readership that the nut job who the police thought was Jon Benet's killer has more coverage than Silverstein's order to "pull" building 7?
Let's face it. We have no real news media anymore. For all the news we're NOT getting, they may as well not even exist. It's up to us, We the people, to ask the tough questions and report them. It only took me a few days to gather the information on this web page, but the information I got blew me away.
Thomas Jefferson was right. We have to have a revolution every now and then to keep the government in check. What we are witnessing is what Orwell predicted many years ago in his book, 1984. "Who controls the past controls the present. Who controls the present controls the future." Our first revolution was our most successful and our last. This is the end result of leaving the government go unchecked. We're all becoming slaves, just as Winston Smith was in that same book, and just as Winston also reasoned, only the proles (proletariat) can reverse the tide and free us.
Unless you're a government worker, a multi-national banker, or a military industrialist, YOU are a prole and it's crucial you stand up and be counted. To the power elite, you're just useless fodder for the mill and something that costs too much in the form of your paycheck, and whether you live or die means nothing to them. There's plenty more where you came from. The power elite don't give a rat's ass about you, but I do. I'm a prole, just like you.
I suggest you use what's left of that great American spirit that's been the core of our being from the beginning, before we lose it forever.
